2001 Volkswagen Golf Airbag Indicator light help?

The airbag indicator light on my wife's Golf came on, along with the EPC light, and she can't ake it out of park without doing a trick involving putting on the brakes and putting the gear shift in between neutral and drive. Before we take it to the dealer, does anyone know which fuses I can check?
