Can any Professional Truckers out there, help me?

I am currently getting my Cl 1 Drivers license, and was wondering if it is a profitable profession? I currently have another job but I am thinking about switching to driving. I just am not sure what kind of money I should expect to make. Could you give me some details on what to expect? Thanks!
