Did purchasing a $530 Honda lawnmower and letting my lawn guys go help or hurt the US economy?

Your lawn guys took your money, paid taxes, and bought stuff in the community. That money then did the same thing. The money you paid was a one time deal and most of it went to Honda Japan.
