Given the odds are against Hillary winning the nomination, why has an intelligent man such as Bill Clinton...?

..prepared to burn bridges and make such public statements. All of this is ammunition to the Republicans, Mr. Clinton. Wouldnt it seem that he would want to keep a good relationship with Obama and the DNC? I know theres alot of people on here who support HIllary and dont like obama. But honestly when Obama most like wins the nomination you all know that he would work with Hillary and bill to defeat Mccain. So why would Bill do this, and why would you even want to switch to republican? To me that would be the most ignorant thing to do.
