Ok mormons big favor! please answer!?

So i was watching this show and a guy admitted that he slapped and punched a 7 month old baby until it was limp. The baby died and he was locked up. I prayed for him to live a better life, be absolved of his sins and accept Jesus Christ and his true church and live a better life. After doing this i felt terrible that i prayed for this "man" to be in heaven with me. The idea of him being in celestial kingdom with me and my children brought me to tears...and words or helpful input?
