Should I call back or e-mail after an interview?

I was in the exact same situation except i waited about a week and a half (after a phone interview). I called yesterday and left her a messege and she called me back today to set up a personal interview =). I would say if it has been a week or more, it is definitely appropriate to call and ask about your status for the position. Good Luck!
