If you did go in to work, you would be putting every one of your co-workers at risk of catching the same, painful strep throat that you've got. Don't be selfish or disrespectful to your co-workers, stay at home for a day. It's not being wimpy, it's a healthy etiquette in work ethics, and it's the right thing to do.
