UnderTaker, Kane feud and paul bearer?

is it me or this story doesn't make any sense. wasn't taker the one who hurt paul bearer almost killed him. After he use cement on him many years ago? Now he is back and helping taker? this doesn't make any sense. And taker now need paul help to beat kane? Unless they are going to make paul turn on taker and help kane that will make more sense. for reveng since taker did almost kill him with cement. Anyone eles think the same?
