What can I make with old chicken crates?

I did a French country kitchen using them with a rooster theme. You can mount them to walls to use as shelves, put them on the soffit above the kitchen cupboards to use for display, you can use them together as a table base and add a piece of tempered gl and you can use them outdoors by lining them with moss as planters either upright or on their sides. Wonderful repurpose of a unique item.
