What do you think will happen to Jack Bauer in 24?

I ume they won't kill him, because that is what happened to Michael Scofield in Prisionbreak and Writers and producers tend to not want to copy their past projects. But then again I can't see where they are going to take his charter. Also, are they doing another season or are they doing a movie or what?
