Greetings! I have read this book. For me there was nothing related to the occult. I was raised a Christian but have lots of beliefs that I don't mention in church for fear someone might have a heart attack. God is so much bigger than a single religion. We try so hard to put "him" in a box or church building because it is something we can understand. Instead of God making man in "his" image, we make God in our image so we can relate better. There is an entire world of spirit around us all the time. The Bible speaks of it throughout when it talks about the angels, heavenly bodies, etc. Throughout the history covered in the Bible there have been people blessed with a higher connection to this realm. In the Jewish Bible (old testament) prophets were highly regarded. Dream interpeters were given great respect. After Jesus, this was no longer the case. Its not that they didn't and don't currently exist, it was just made to look like a sin to listen to such a person. When Constantine had his "religious leaders" compile the New Testament, I feel a great deal of thought was put into thte best way to unify the Roman Empire and also to put forth the greatest control of the population through religion. There are 100s of other religious texts of the time that were not included in the Bible. Many of these actually talk about more spiritual aspects of God and Jesus. By making the Bible look like it says not to follow any such person, leadership was placed on the Roman leadership instead of the leadership of God. God - the Holy Spirit - the Will of God - Spirital Guides, whatever you want to call our connection to God, it is there all the time. When Esther Hicks hears from "Abraham" I think she is connecting with this higher realm. I had my first experience with this when I was 4 years old. I didn't even know about God and Jesus to any great extent at that young age, but I know it happened. It has happened for me several times over my life time. I have no doubt of its presence. Everyone has the ability to connect, however, each person has to believe that it can be done with no doubts. Doubts are what seperate us from God. When Jesus tells us that if we have faith we could move the mountain, this is what he is telling us. As humans, we will never 100% totally believe we can speak to the mountain and it will move. There is always an element of doubt. We are all capable of so much more than we could ever imagine but we don't have total faith that we can so therefore, we can't. This ability to have faith is where the power of attraction comes into play.

Wood type for gazebo / porch?

No matter your local weather or which wood you choose, any kind of wood will eventually need to be refinished. Repainting or refinishing latticework over an average size deck/porch is a job I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Or maybe I would, on second thought. Point is, plan ahead--do you really want to refinish all those individual lattices some years down the road? My deck is covered with textured aluminum latticework that looks like painted wood--no refinishing ever!

My wisdom teeth were surgically removed 2 days ago, and i have several stitches. How long do they typically stay in, and will they fall out...or just disintegrate. I totally can't understand this store. When I saw the prices, I was absolutely floored. If you want to build muscle, you should do each exercise for a set of about 8 to 12 reps. Use enough resistance so that you have trouble doing those reps. You should then rest and do two more sets. Doing exercises for 50 times or more may make you stronger, but they will not make you bigger. Also, make sure you eat a lot of protein.

I was lamenting that sometimes my hubby doesn't update me with his whereabouts. What do you think of this poem? Opinions wanted

Impending doom with a gothic/biblical apocalyspe mood emanating from the lines. Almost a dreamscape filled with all things haunting from childhood tales. There is no pausing as you read. This is gripping. My only critique would be to think about using coyotes. Hyenas or jackals I think would be better suited to the ambience the poem has created. The screaming sheep flaying gave me an image of the heavens opening up and the creatures falling to their doom. Overall, very well done, and this is from someone who normally does not like dark.

Ive been with my girlfriend for over 2 years now, and we have 1 child 2getha. She has 3 other children and one to boy 2 a partener who died of a heart attack. Cancer metastatis to liver and bone. Stage IV. What is her life expectancy now ?

My aunt had one removed surgically in 2008 for cancer. Radiotherapy was done but no chemo as she had no one to take care of if chemo undertaken. Now aged 66 yrs. Last month, it is learnt that it has metastatized to liver and bone. Now on Tab Tamoxifen and still not ready for chemo. Has had early menopause around 37 yrs of age. How can I reconcile my parents?

I'm 21 and away at college. My parents have been fighting a lot since before I was born. My father is extremely verbally and emotionally abusive, and he used to hit my mom. 4WD vs. AWD whats the difference?

4WD is locked at the transfer case and thus is best used only in low traction conditions. Steering will become more difficult if you were to be on dry pavement in 4WD because the front and rear axles travel different arcs and will cause binding. AWD, on the other hand will split power between the front and rear axles, but will allow slippage, usually through something like a viscous coupler. My older Jeep Grand Cherokee had a NV242 transfer case that allowed AWD for driving on the road, as well as a 4WD position for off road. If you drive on the road only, an AWD system is the best answer, as you don't need to remember to shift it in and out of 4WD as conditions require. If you want to take the vehicle off roading, you want something designed around 4WD capability, like my Jeep Wrangler.

So I told my husband not to pay, and told them to come get their stuff...They came by when I was showering (apparently they don't believe in scheduling anything) so I told my son to tell them to come back after the following day after five when my husband was home, they then made fun of him..They came at 2 instead of 5 the next day!! When I did not let them in they trashed my yard with hundreds of door fliers..I mean they strung them everywhere!!! then they violated my privacy by breaking the third party disclosure law, when they told my neighbor personal info about my account.. I took pictures of the yard mess, and have two witnesses to the privacy violation, but I don't want these guys in my house..so I have told the company to make other arrangements to come get their stuff such as sending the store manager to supervise, they are completely un cooperative. please read the whole paragraph. i have started to take B12 500mcg and folic acid 400mcg together? can i get upset stomach with these 2 vitamins? i have the gastritis so i take prilosec otc in the morning to reduce the stomach acid and i believe which causes B12 not to absorb properly and my hemoglobin level is 12.7 which is lower than normal. HCT IS 41.7 which is little lower than normal. RBC is 6.62 which is little higher than normal. MCV is 62.9 lower than normal. MCH is 19.2 lower than normal. RDW is 19.0 higher than normal. now does all this indicate that i am anemic? well i asked the lab person he says that i have little anemia but i believe its not iron deficiency because the RBC level is higher than normal. the lab guy said that i have minor thalimia so RBC's are smaller than normal and he recommended me to take B12 with folic acid and my questions are can i take take them together and why dont i need to take IRON tablets? why only the B12 abd Folic acid? thanks alot.

My son's 2000 Honda Accord needs a new transimission. What should it cost?

Evidently these transmissions aren't that great and have been a problem. He has had an estimate of 2,900 dollars which seems a little steep. Is that a little high? Also, when it is rebuilt do you recommend a transmission cooler on the rebuilt transmission? We want it to last. Evidently some people have had to replace these transmissions every 60,000 miles. This one lasted 125,000 but I had the fluid changed every time it was dirty and it just got dirty quick. Why? Does the transmission run too hot, or is it made of poor materials? This is an excellent car, I turned it over to my son at 105,000 so he'd have wheels for grad school. We had hoped after all the maintenance done on it that he could get a few years out of the car but it only went 20,000 mles more until the transmission starting slipping--which is intermittent not really bad yet. WRONGFUL EVICTION, Please HELP!?

My sister is a resident of Colorado. She has legal custody of our nephew (16) who resides with her. She had just renewed her lease with this apartment complex. After renewing the lease a burglary occured at the complex. My 16 year old nephew was accused of the burglary. Because of being in rehab the year before he was on probation he was immediately sent to a youth detention center. He insisted he had no involvement although his finger prints were on the accusers outside window. (He admitted staring in the apartment when it was empty prior to the tenant moving in.) When he was arrested my sister was given a 3 day eviction notice and was told she had to continue paying the $1300 a month rent until it was rented or the lease was up. She abided- and moved out, has paid one month rent since being gone. My nephew had a trial and was found not guilty. Does she have to continue paying this rent? Does she have a case for wrongful eviction since he was found not guilty? HELP!

Compulsive gambler need �2k and "help!" advice please?

I am increasingly selfish man who has destroyed my life and that if my family. My wife left me last year after I had a failed suicide attempt. I had been leading a double life and had amed severe gambling debts and could not go on anymore. I spent 2 weeks in hospital following the failed attempt and everyday since i have lived in hell. We have 2 wonderful children who I only get to see once a week (if I am lucky and only for about 3 hours.) I recently have been living with my parents who have been incredibly kind. But I can't go on living anymore. I tried so hard to conquer my gambling compulsion. I found solace for a while in gamblers anonymous but then the dream world of the gambler overtook me and I ran up further debt and continued lying to my family about my whereabouts and my finances. I have a good job, where I manage to put on a different persona and get work done to a high standard, and I get on well with my colleagues. but each month I end up losing my wages and my losing my will to live. I have no real friends. I look at the 50 or so people on facebook and there is only one person on there who I would count as a friend. I even rang the Samaritans today, because I have no one else to speak to. My problem is that I can't get the thought of doing serious harm to myself out of my head. I have lost my wages and the �2k I need to cover payments of my debt management plan, my car finance and my mortgage has gone. I feel I have no option but to leave this world now. I have let everyone down. I did the same last month and my parents bailed me out but won't do it again and they have categorically said this. If I gamble again I am homeless and disowned. I can't move back to my own home as I am not welcome there. So my question I guess is two... The first is where the hell can I get �2k to put right all this mess and keep living for another month...? How many years would it take for someone that studies aikido to defend themselves effectively? By effectively I mean that he can evade an attack or grab a wrist that grabbed him, throw the attacker to the ground, and then pin him. How long would it take to develop this level of aikido skill. I'm not looking for it depends on the person and how well he learns type responses. I am looking for if you are an aikidoka how long did it take you to have these skills and feel like you can use them effectively against a real, determined attacker? If your not an aikidoka, how long do you think it would take the average aikidoka to do this?

Relationship Seperation Anxiety?

I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder, and it has become really pronounced since I started dating this guy. We have been dating almost a year, and my disorder has gotten progressively worse. BPD's most inhibiting characteristic is seperation anxiety. So, I have a very hard time when my boyfriend leaves. I feel like he forgets me when he leaves, and doesnt think about me, and perhaps doesnt even love me. I feel like he will just find someone else in his spare time (and I know that he is somewhat of a liar, which makes this even harder to put out of my mind). Thus, I want to spend every minute of every day with him. And when he wants a guys night, I take it very personally and feel like he's abandoning me. Now I KNOW deep down that that isnt true, but that is how it feels, and I cannot seem to make myself realize that it is all in my head. But this gets old to him, and he wants to break up. He cannot take the fights we get into because of this anxiety, and he does not seem to understand that it is a chemical imbalance - I dont WANT to be like this! How can I make this situation better? How can I be okay with letting him spend time without me? How can I improve my trust with someone who has let me down so many times in the past? And most importantly, how can I keep him, and prove to him that I will get better?

I've had the best luck waiting for the bus to arrive to the venue and meeting people as they unloaded. Granted, we're talking smaller theaters and clubs. My example is the musician Five For Fighting and his band and crew. They unloaded their trailer behind or next to the venues and they didn't mind me taking photos of their activities. I was able to talk to the techs, the band, even the bus driver...he actually let me on the bus! And, yes, I met John Ondrasik, too! If you want to do this, be prepared to be there about 6 hours before the show.

I woke up Tuesday morning to find a toilet filled of blood Mind you im 16 weeks pregnant. I freaked out ran to call my doc, Had to use bathroom again 2nd toilet full. I drove my self to E.R. gushing blood 2 times only had one cramp within 15 mins of drive time. Got to hospital they couldn't figure out y i was bleeding I had no pain. They showed my baby jumpin happier than ever heart beat was a good 150. They took me to labor and delivery floor did more test My bleeding had started to slow down at this time, they thought maybe i was going to have a miscarriage or might have to have a possible DNC. Nope, They took me to the High Risk floor Admitted me the next morning i had seen Maternal fetal medicine they said they couldnt see anything either but they did tell me I'm having a girl!!! They sent in a specialist, Which he was able to tell me everything looks good too, But he says i must of torn the placenta from my uterus a little. do you think he just told me that to get me out of the hospital. He diagnosed me but no one seen that on the ulrtasound monitor? He wants me to follow up in a week. The bleeding is alot lighter at night it gets a little heavier. It's Friday now and im still bleeding although its a lighter flow it goes from light peach color during day and like a blush rose color at night. I am on l Cream for bacterial infection if anyone has ever had this before please share with me i feel like im the only one out here with this problem... It doesnt make sense to me.
